Join the LGBT Chamber of Commerce at BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois as we come together to discuss the challenges you face as a supplier diversity professional. This session will include a presentation from BlueCrossBlueShield of Illinois (BCBSIL) and Barilla. While BCBSIL has an established supplier diversity program, Barilla, like many companies, has recently started to focus more efforts on their supplier diversity program. These presentations will show the differences and similarities in these programs, pathways to success, and best practices based on your current program.  The workshop will last from 3:30 - 5:15pm, and then we will transition to a networking event. Due to limited space, no more than 2 representatives per company are allowed. 

After the workshop, we will network at The Mid-America Club, located next door at 200 E. Randolph. The networking reception will last from 5:30 - 7pm. Local LGBTBE's will also be invited to join us and network. 

Who Should Attend? 
This workshop is for professionals who are responsible for procuring suppliers to fulfill business needs. This is not an educational event for LGBTBE's or small business owners.
