Chicago-based HERE: productions presents their devised cabaret variety show HERE: in our bodies at Steppenwolf Theatre’s Winter LookOUT Series. This show flies in the face of “could’s” and “should’s” of societal body norms, and instead celebrates how we each bring beautiful insight about the mysteries of life simply by existing. Through drag, burlesque, puppetry, poetry, original sound, and video projection, this show takes the audience on a journey of understanding (and healing) our mind/body connections. This one-of-a-kind show is produced by queer performance artists Ellis Centric and Red Velvet Riot.
