I started Samuel James Watches LTD with nothing but a vision of creating distinctive and reliable time pieces that expose individuality. As a watch collector, I could not stand that I was unable to find unique time pieces that didn’t look like a replications of everyone else’s watch. I grabbed a pencil and a sketch book and began drawing watch designs the way I’d want them to look. Started my career as a mechanical design engineer in 2011 through an internship through Triton college. I then received my Associates in Engineering technology from Triton in summer of 2015. I always thought engineering was going to be my life long career.  In 2017 I started a campaign for better interactions with our LGBTQ+ community in the Elgin area. This quickly grew to outreach with other underserved, underrepresented, and historically marginalized groups.
