About Us

Chi-Town Squares is a modern square dance club for the LGBTQ+ community and their friends. Perhaps you have unpleasant memories of nerdy junior high exposure to square dancing or grandparents who wore funny outfits. Trust us; this is NOT square dancing as we practice it! Come see how we do it, with lots of twirling, swirling and fun. Dress is casual (we wear T-shirts & jeans), no partner is necessary; all you need to bring is your sense of humor and remember your right from your left. We have great callers to teach you the basics and you’ll be twirling before you know it!
